We empower youth and communities through the advancement of environmental conservation, climate-smart agriculture, eco-entrepreneurship, and responsible leadership.
Communities EverGreening Africa (CEGA) is a non-governmental organization registered with the NGOs Co-ordination Board in Kenya. We operate in Tharaka-Nithi, Nairobi, Embu, Meru, and Kirinyaga counties.
Communities EverGreening Africa was founded in response to the urgent need for environmental conservation and sustainable development in Kenya. We recognize the crucial role of environmental conservation in climate change mitigation, the transformative potential of climate-smart agriculture to uplift communities and the importance of eco-entrepreneurship and leadership in harnessing the boundless energy, curiosity, and desire for positive change among youth.
By focusing on environmental conservation, climate-smart agriculture, and eco-entrepreneurship and leadership, we aim to address pressing environmental and socio-economic challenges in Kenya. Our aim is to foster a culture of sustainability and leadership, paving the way for a brighter, more resilient future.
