Our Tree Growing Process
1. Collect Tree Seeds
Identify tree species for sourcing quality seeds, gather tools for safe seed collection, extract, thresh, and sun-dry the seeds. Additionally, conduct pre-sowing treatment for specific species, test the seeds, and store them in optimal conditions.
2. Establish Tree Nursery
Choose an appropriate location with access to water, clear the site, acquire necessary tools, and construct structures for protection. Create seedbeds, sow seeds, transfer seedlings to potting bags filled with soil, and implement regular watering along with pest and disease control measures.
3. Select Sites & Plant Trees
Assess site for suitability, identify tree species compatible with site conditions, create detailed planting plan, mobilize unskilled labor for planting, and execute the tree planting during the rainy season.
4. Care for Planted Trees
Monitor planted trees for three years, replant any lost or broken ones, protect planted sites from livestock and trespassers, remove weeds around trees, provide water, apply manure, and control pests and diseases. Additionally, monitor and record the survival rates of the trees.
